Eligibility Criteria for SSC Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) Recruitment 2024:
- Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree: Candidates must have a Master’s degree from a recognized university in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject, or vice versa. OR
- A Master’s degree from a recognized university in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi as the medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject, or vice versa. OR
- A Master’s degree from a recognized university in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject, or vice versa, along with a recognized diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, or two years of translation work experience.
- Age Limit:
- Candidates must be between 18 to 30 years of age as of the specified date. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.
- Nationality:
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen or meet the eligibility criteria set by the government for nationals of Nepal, Bhutan, and certain other countries.
