About the Role

Position: Vice President (Investor Relations)

Place of Posting: Mumbai (may involve transfer depending on Bank requirements)
Age Limit:

  • Minimum: 40 years
  • Maximum: 45 years (as on December 31, 2024)

Contract Period: 4 years (renewable as per Bank’s requirements)
The contract can be terminated from either side with three months’ notice or by compensating with an amount equal to three months’ salary.

Compensation:

Variable pay is performance-based, evaluated biannually, with a structured payout based on performance ratings.e Pay in a 90:10 ratio

Annual CTC: Up to ₹65.00 lakhs

Key Responsibilities

As Vice President (Investor Relations), you will play a pivotal role in shaping SBI’s investor engagement strategy. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Investor Interaction Management:
    • Organizing meetings and conferences with current and prospective investors.
    • Maintaining a comprehensive database of investor meeting requests and arranging interactions with SBI’s top management.
  2. Annual Rating Surveillance:
    • Managing interactions with domestic and international rating agencies.
    • Reviewing and assessing rating reports, ensuring factual accuracy and compliance.
  3. Financial Analysis and Reporting:
    • Preparing quarterly and annual closing presentations.
    • Tracking and analyzing shareholding patterns and market commentary on SBI and its peers.
  4. Event Management:
    • Arranging investor interactions, analyst calls, and post-results discussions.
    • Coordinating with internal stakeholders for seamless execution of events.
  5. Strategic Planning:
    • Developing and maintaining an investor relations plan.
    • Providing feedback to management on investor perceptions and market expectations.
  6. Additional Projects:
    • Leading ad-hoc strategic or analytical projects, including involvement in capital fund-raising exercises.

Your Key Result Areas (KRAs) will focus on managing investor relationships, organizing analyst meets, analyzing market reports, and aligning the Bank’s strategic goals with investor expectations.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

Educational Qualifications

  • Mandatory: PGDM, PGDBM, MBA, or equivalent from a recognized university or college.
  • Preferred: Specialization in Finance.

Work Experience

  • Mandatory: Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or investor relations.
    • At least 5 years of experience specifically in investor relations within the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector.
  • Preferred: Experience in analyzing financial statements, preparing financial models, and familiarity with RBI and SEBI guidelines.

Skills Required

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills.
