Age Criteria

  • Maximum age: 57 years

Contract Period:

  • Initial contract: 3 years
  • Extension: Up to 2 additional years (at the sole discretion of the bank)
  • Termination Clause: The contract can be terminated with three months’ notice from either side or compensation in lieu thereof.

Salary and Benefits

Annual CTC (Cost to Company):

  • ₹31,20,000/- per annum
  • Fixed & Variable Pay Ratio: 70:30 (negotiable)

Performance-Based Increment:

  • After 1st year: 6% increase in annual CTC
  • After 2nd year: 6.5% increase from previous year’s CTC
  • After 3rd year (if renewed): 7% increase from previous year’s CTC

Key Responsibilities

As Chief Officer (Security), the selected candidate will lead SBI’s corporate security function. The role involves:

Policy & Strategy:

  • Developing and reviewing security policies for the bank.
  • Keeping top management informed on security-related matters.
  • Staying updated with emerging security trends and providing expert advice.

Operational Security Management:

  • Ensuring high operational efficiency of all security systems.
  • Conducting security audits at bank premises and head offices.
  • Reviewing the Bank’s Disaster Recovery Plan from a security perspective.

Training & Awareness:

  • Training security officers and bank guards to enhance security awareness.
  • Organizing security drills and workshops for bank staff.
  • Leading quarterly security quizzes and security awareness programs.

Coordination & Compliance:

  • Coordinating with Circle Security Officers to ensure uniform security implementation.
  • Conducting annual security conferences to align security strategies across SBI branches.
  • Ensuring compliance with security-related regulations.
