Eligibility Criteria For ITBP Head Constable & Constable Recruitment 2024:
- Educational Qualification:
- Head Constable (Dresser Veterinary):
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) from a recognized board.
- Must have a Diploma or Certificate in Veterinary or Animal Husbandry from a recognized institution.
- Constable (Animal Transport & Kennelman):
- Candidates must have passed 10th (Matriculation) from a recognized board.
- Head Constable (Dresser Veterinary):
- Age Limit:
- Head Constable (Dresser Veterinary): 18 to 25 years.
- Constable (Animal Transport & Kennelman): 18 to 25 years.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules for reserved categories.
- Physical Standards:
- Candidates must meet the required physical standards (height, chest, and endurance) as specified in the official notification.
- Nationality:
- Must be a citizen of India.
- Other Requirements:
- Candidates must meet the medical and fitness standards set by the ITBP.

Responsibilities for ITBP Head Constable & Constable Recruitment 2024:
- Head Constable (Dresser Veterinary):
- Provide veterinary care to animals, including first aid, treatment, and routine check-ups.
- Assist veterinarians in surgical procedures and handle medical instruments and supplies.
- Maintain accurate medical records of the animals and ensure the availability of necessary medications and supplies.
- Perform minor surgical procedures under the supervision of a veterinarian.
- Constable (Animal Transport & Kennelman):
- Safely transport animals to various locations as required by the ITBP.
- Ensure the proper care, feeding, and grooming of animals during transport and in kennels.
- Maintain and clean animal transport vehicles and kennels, ensuring they meet hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist in the training and handling of service animals as directed by superiors.
