Surprise Appearances: Brie Larson & Rita Moreno
One of the biggest shocks of the night was Brie Larson’s presence. Though her role had been kept under wraps, she confirmed she was joining the Fast universe in a yet-to-be-revealed capacity. Equally surprising was legendary actress Rita Moreno, who hinted at a key role in the film.
“I never thought I’d be in a Fast & Furious movie at my age,” Moreno joked. “But here I am, and let me tell you—it’s wild!”
Paul Walker Tribute: “He’s Always With Us”
No Fast event is complete without honoring Paul Walker, whose tragic death in 2013 left a permanent mark on the franchise. Vin Diesel took a moment during the premiere to reflect on Walker’s legacy, fighting back tears as he spoke.
“There’s not a day that goes by where we don’t think about Pablo,” Diesel said, using Walker’s nickname. “His spirit is in every frame of this movie. This is for him.”
