UCIL is offering a total of 32 apprenticeship positions in various trades. The available trades and the number of vacancies for each are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this apprenticeship, candidates must meet the following eligibility conditions:
1. Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed Matric/10th Standard from a recognized board.
- Must have ITI certification in the relevant trade from NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training).
2. Age Limit:
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 25 years (as of 13th January 2025)
- Age relaxation will be provided as per government norms for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PwBD candidates.
3. Prior Training Restriction:
- Candidates who have already completed or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training in any Government, Public Sector, or Private Industrial Organization are not eligible to apply for this apprenticeship.
Stipend & Benefits
- Apprentices will be paid a monthly stipend as per Rule 11 of the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992.
- The training will provide valuable industry experience in a reputed PSU, enhancing job prospects in the future.
- However, completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee employment at UCIL.
Reservation Policy
- SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates will be provided reservation as per Apprentices Act, 1961.
- 3% of vacancies are reserved for Physically Handicapped (PwBD) candidates.
