Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Credit Officer position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Age Limit: Candidates must be between 20 to 30 years of age as of 30th November 2024. Age relaxations apply for reserved categories, including:
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC: 3 years
    • PwBD: 10 years
    • Widows, divorced women, and women legally separated: Specific age concessions apply.
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a degree (graduation) in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks (or 55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates).

Candidates should possess a valid Mark-sheet/Degree Certificate at the time of application registration. The degree must be obtained from a recognized institution approved by the Indian Government.

Recruitment Process

The selection process for the Credit Officer role involves a two-stage examination:

  1. Online Objective Test: This test will evaluate candidates on four sections:
    • English Language (30 questions, 30 marks)
    • Quantitative Aptitude (30 questions, 30 marks)
    • Reasoning Ability (30 questions, 30 marks)
    • General Awareness (Banking and Financial Industry-related) (30 questions, 30 marks)
    The online test will consist of 120 questions, with a total of 120 marks, and candidates will be allotted 25 minutes for each section (except General Awareness, which is allotted 15 minutes). The test will be conducted in English and Hindi.
  2. Descriptive Test (English Language): This section will assess candidates’ ability to write letters and essays in English. It consists of two questions, totaling 30 marks, with a 30-minute time limit.

After the written test, candidates who pass will be shortlisted for an interview and document verification. The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in both the online test and interview.
